Oooh, those are cool ^^ Also thanks again End. I'm going to consider buying those or maybe saving a bit more for the twisters. (I may be being picky but I prefer the black ones )

before you make any full decisions look around yourself... Dicks sporting goods and other outdoors stores sell base skates... what you really need is some base starter skates to test and ride around in (if your not one hundred percent sure you wanna learn to grind and stuff) if you do want to learn how to grind and do tricks in skates check out the aggressive (even if you don't grind and stuff right away they do have some skates that are nice as beginner's skates and usually very comfy.. rollerwarehouse.com/Aggressive-Skates-Under-150.asp south got his girlfriend a pair of Rollerblade dt5s and she enjoys them when they go out skating...

Alright, thank you very much for your advice ^^ I've been looking into it like a madwoman lol. I really want to go for grinding so I guess that's the type of skates I need to look at. Thanks again

Nah, you're fine. haha You didn't mess up at all. That's said usually because of the lack of brake/heel-stop in most aggressive skates. The brake really won't make a difference, in the end. Most people find them annoying, actually. They're also not that effective once you start getting some real speed. :] There are other, more functional forms if stopping.
The easiest to learn, I'd say, is the T-stop. If you're just starting and have never tried skating before, you'll more than likely start off by skate-walking and shuffling about and using a wall or other object to stop until you have enough balance to try a different stopping method.
It could be different though. Everyone's different so you may learn another way, my first braking maneuver was the spin stop not the T-Stop. Haha Just do what feels natural and take other people's advice as suggestions or guidelines. If something someone tells you feels weird or unnatural, try modifying or alternating to something that's feels more natural. You have all the time in the world to do the unnatural after you have the natural down. lulz x3
