Im still working on that one as well, i have alot of descussions with the other admins about it and one thing that comes into mind is Cess slides and soul based grinds... and thats only as far as tricks go (there will be more trick just need some help figuring it out)
after tricks we have tecs to use just durring normal riding (Ground Control as far as weight placement durring pushing, doing tricks and spins. ). Another example is speed control on down hills, (ie.) when i hit hills i (thinking most gaia riders would as well) solom or sweep in wide arcs as i go down the hill to maintain a safe and constant speed...
what do you guys think?

as far as hills go i think doing something as short t stops or power slides would help a little if not then some ground control spins

if you do T-stops on large hills you burn up your wheels before you stop or start slowing down, and as far as powerslides (if your confinit in your abilities go for it).... as for me i solom (its a sweeping teck that skiers use)

Well, I'd slide down (please, distinct "slide" and "grind") with Inferno Magic. As soon as I master it ;D

On the quiz i got Over road but personally ive looked at my runs and i believe myself to be both the Over road and the Flame road so should i try to qualify for both roads or should i just focus on one at a time? And btw Alex im glad your on here even though i havent been here long ive been looking through all the threads and you have never put one unproductive thing on here so i thank you =)

I have not read all the post so if this has already come up I am sorry I think some tricks would fall under more then one road ex.cess slides could be bloody road or flame road depending on the intent of the rider to ether check off speed in a turn or to "attack" another rider. VF I believe this was mentioned in a similar way, but you put it very well. There are some tricks that are kind of tricky (bad pun lulz) to set into one category. You explained very well that its not necessarily the trick, but rather how its intended to be used. :] It took me an entire night to sort through sort of helpful to not at all when it comes to advice. So far 2 distinguishable standards have been made for 2 roads. I think your idea of cleaning the forums should happen faster. All for the better of constructive criticism. Yeah, there will be a lot of cleaning going on these next few weeks. You're right. It is hell to navigate through this. But if anyone has any questions at all that they feel they shouldn't ask in case they were answered, go ahead and ask anyway. This will be fine until the info is in an easy to find location. Sorry guys.

Wing road is mine.Witch is perfect for me because i love getting as high as possible into the sky This thread is for road development. Please post only if you have an idea regarding the roads,or in this case the Wing Road. I'll be cleaning this thread to make it easier to read. We're trying to focus on getting the Road Standards completed right now. Riding a real road takes time, practice, and skill. Anyone can say they ride a road. These standards will be the proof needed to legitimize those claims. ;]

nope but im sure if you give it a couple of days something will pop up. In the mean time why dont you think of sharing your average jump height, max air, and your skill level and this will help

oK well my average jump hieght would be about 4ft maby even higher if im riding fast. My max height in my life is 20ft at most. A few years ago I was trying to grind down a small apartment building not very big or tall. My friend and I gatherd pipes to grind down it and we put a matress down on the ground if we fell. After several ateempts i almost landed it i was 5 ft off the ground and fell next to the matress. I had broken my leg. But I would never regreted doing it because the sensation of being in the air felt amazing. I now live in the palmbay area and I am going to start on a team soon. How about any one elses average jump height?

I ride the Wing Road as well, but I have a feeling that I ride other roads as well. Looks like I need to just keep riding and find out what I'm fully capable of (it's ok, I've already been skating for over 10 years)
