Hey how come everybody is talking about the over road and I'm not trying to be mean but if u want to practice start out the basics and I don't care if ur the best in the world u always start at the basics. And I need some tips on the flame road It was just the one we went to after Flame, I guess. Lol Agreed. People should learn the basics before attempting to learn anything beyond that. What did you want to know about the Flame Road?

Well, I think my preferred stopping method is the spin stop. :] Usually, if I'm going really fast, I use modified T stop-like maneuvers to lose some of the excess speed before spin stopping or I just spin stop multiple times in a row. Going fast is mostly in the technique. I use what's called the double push when I really want to go fast. Also, getting low helps significantly. There are several accel poses you could use to speed up also. The main idea behind the poses are to make yourself as aerodynamic as ya can, you'll literally feel the boost you get. :] Downhill is great to help you practice maneuvering at high speeds, accelerating at high speeds and getting used to high speeds. The more you expose yourself to high speeds, when you reach the level to not put yourself at too great of a risk , the faster high speeds becomes routine. :]

Well the quiz said I was an over road rider and I agree, I like going high in the air trying to go as far as I can oh nd I've been practicing trying to do a 360 over the top side of a pyramid ramp but I'm not clearing it. Is it bucause I'm not going fast enough or how I spin any advice would be helpful? Oh and more trick to the over road would be nice too! :]

I took the quiz and got sonia road. Can anybody tell me what I should learn for the basics. Well, there are a lot of Slalom and flexibility based tricks and maneuvers in that road. You'll be able to tell if you look up a few videos. Try searching for slalom skating on youtube. :] Sonia tricks should stick out if you know what to look for. Let us know if you need more help! Umm one question about the over road jump, does it have to be flat or can we use ramps to help us. ??? You're able to use what you need to help achieve your goal. So ramps are fine. :] Staircases too. Using some speed instead of or with height can help, depending on what your trying to clear. I believe that goes without saying though. Lulz

Rawr: Finally someone asks about a road I ride Rawr:
For me the Gaia Road revolves around three things Endurance, Power and Controll
E(Being able to ride at a relativity high speed for a long time- or- using little strength) P(Using powerful long pushes instead of fast small ones {difference between flame road}) C(being able to fully control ones weight and balance in all situations)
(give me your ideas as well, still fine tuning the description/ idea)

Excited about people asking about the road you ride? Anyways thanks for the description West, although I have one more question, what kind of tricks are incorporated in the Gaia road?
