There're also Powerslide Defcon wheel, built by this technology. My guess is that they will fall apart after the outer layer of urethane will completely wear out. So, they shouldn't be used too much in braking and sliding and they were primarily made to add extra damping in coherence with standard shock-soles and shock absorbers.
If I ever get a chance to test these things, I'll post a review here.
