Well, are you thinking of actually building a skate with rollerwarehouse, or what? I suggest you do the research on your own first, and in depth, to figure out what you're looking for.

As I asked, are you looking to do this through one of the aggressive skating sites? If so, it's cheaper to buy a premade aggressive skate model sometimes than making the skate on a builder, and its much cheaper than buying all the parts seperately.

Nah, I still would suggest getting a stock pair of skates for right now, building custom skates without knowing exactly what you're looking for after skating for years and years is just a waste of money.

rollernews and be-mag forums usually have users trading/selling parts but really, unless your hell bent on making a custom pair, a stock pair makes more sense like Nomura said. Rollerwarehouse lets you switch out the stock colors for any other available one for the same price if that interests you

Stock skates are better than they may seem. To a seasoned skater, yes, customs are great. But you need to find your best fit before that. But if you're absolutely insistent, here are the main parts of an aggressive inline skate, and what their functions are.
Liners: The boot inside the skate. These are almost purely based on comfort. But that also comes as a padding for blistering, rolling your ankles, etc.
Wheels: Well, duh.
Bearings: These are what spins the wheels. The better the bearings, the faster the skates. Ball bearings are the most popular types of bearings, and for a reason.
Frames: These hold the wheels. They come in a wide variety. Different colors, shapes, and sizes for optimal skating. Many Aggressive skaters want a grind plate in the middle, for obvious reasons.
Grind plates: The area of the frames grooved for grinding. These come in a couple types, mainly regular and freestyle.
Inserts: Make your frames look pretty.
Soulplates: The sole of the skate that hold the frames. These also come in a large variety. These can affect certain grinds, and the weight of the boot in total.
Cuffs: The main, hard shell that conceals the back of the boot. These, again come in a wide variety. These can affect how bendable the skate it, and how sturdy.
If you have any question for particular parts, or for opinions, etc., just ask. You can message me, if you want.

Well, no, not for skates lol. That was a vague joke, I guess I should've explained. When I said "and for a reason," I meant, "Because those are the only kind you can use with skates" lol Sorry bout that.
