im almost completely new to skates and currently am building my own motorized skates (i wont use em for part wars of course because that would be considered cheating) but the main point of me is to ask, what kind of skates are the best for a bloody beginner like me? and moving on, wich skates would be the best for speed?

How much are you guys willing to spend? There are some really good ones at rollerwarehouse.com under $150.

So, I am interested in skating, I have done it before, but just in a simple skate rink with browns skates... I was wondering where I could get a pair of cheap skates that are well suited for a beginner

Well there are plenty of places to find skates online and every rider has a shop they prefer, I like rollerwarehouse. :] They have a $150 or less section too, if I'm recalling correctly. There are other places like eBay and Craigslist. Aggressive Mall and erolling.com are good too. I think flat setups, all four wheels the same size, would suit a beginner best. Anti-rocker setups should be fine also. Those are my opinions.
