I know im new here and I have yet to run this by an Admin but what would everyones thoughts be about running a trade or donate thread?
I use Be-mag and Aggressiveskateforums almost every day looking for the best deal to trade skates and parts with other skaters. (if your into different types of parts check them out)
I think it would be a huge help for those that dont have the ability to get professional goods like high quality aggressive skates at the new price.
As im writing this the newest skate (boot) out is USD's new Carbon III model the Mathieu Ledoux Pro boot, and it goes for $369 New!!!
Thats a bit much for someone with a short budget. But for example, I have a pair of Valo EB.1s brand new (boot and frames) that i'd be willing to let go for $100 + shipping! Yea $100 but its brand new but you get the idea!!! You could get stuff like this on other sites like i listed above (no im not trying to sell just making an example)
So yea those are my thoughts on the idea, want to know what everyone thinks of it! If you have any questions about trading on the other sites hit me up!
(I fixed everything in relation to selling/buying for ruling purposes thanks to all who gave me a heads up, I didn't know prior)

Sorry, but the parts war is a free system, and I don't think any sort of advertising goods is allowed.

i understand the whole selling things is off the market but this is a parts war, and as shadow said yes betting them is an obvious option which i am totally for i was just more along the lines of helping the little guys out as in a sort of donation idea, just more on a broad spectrum so that not everyone needs to pay a months work for a pair.
sorry if i offended anyone or went against the rules i was just trying to get my thoughts out and give others ideas of ways of getting things they want.

Sorry, but the parts war is a free system, and I don't think any sort of advertising goods is allowed. i understand this the only non-understandable area of this war is the whole fact that you can "bet" parts in a battle. If by "free system" you mean that no physical money is involved then thats cool, im down with that. Just trying to get others into skates that they REALLY want. I just hope that your term "advertising goods" prevents me from talking about buying and selling sites, which wouldn't make sence knowing rollerwarehouse is a sponsor and widely talked about amongst other bladers. Seeing as they are an online store. This just came into my head, if they are allowed to promote on this site as they do through talking amongst one another then couldn't i say i was an online inline store just trying to sell my goods? Seems only partially unfair under certain circumstances but completely understandable for the most part. Sorry about this long message, first part is to you while the rest is sort of for the post.... Thanks

already a thread for trades and if others are donating parts ill pitch in so some one with out skates can get a pair. tho there would need to be a way to earn that donated pair of skates, bladeles game of blade or something haha.

Fishy, I meant no disrespect. I was simply repeating what's been said by the administrators. Also, Rollerwarehouse is not a sponsor. If we were advertising through them, or being paid by them in some way, they would be. They do not operate or sell through any means concerning the parts war. The primary difference here is just that you're trying to do business directly through the PWN forum, and that's where the issue lies, I believe. If you have issues beyond that, please take them up with Yami.

Seems only partially unfair Thanks the admins use their own hard earned money from real jobs they have family's to take care of too and 5$ is a reasonable price for emblem pins and stickers plus the money goes to the PWN not for personal use or to pay a store so with this said admins please lock this thread i do not want to have this turn into a debate

Yes that is understandable, but i just see rollerwarehouse as a well known company that is commonly mentioned company selling the products we use. Im guess in my initial post I had an idea of a buying and selling thread but now that i know that is against the rules, i dropped that idea. Although I am still thinking of a donating idea for those without expensive skates that want them. I do this in my city all the time. If i have skates or parts that dont fit then i donate them to others that want them and will use them.
Thank you for clearing all that up with me.
