Err...This exact model or aggressive skates in general? Almost every skate out there today has customizable soul plates, frames, cuffs, shells, liners, buckles/straps, wheels, bearings, laces and backslide plates. That's pretty much every the whole skate. Sure, you may need to stick within a certain brand or model, but the color combo possibilities are numerous, for some skates more than others. The Razors Genesys model has a lot of different color combos to choose from. I also suggest checking out the custom skate builders on the online shops. Rollerwarehouse, eRolling and Aggressive Mall all have an online skate builder which lets you customize your own skates piece by piece. As you choose every part, it'll show you what it looks like so far. When you're done, you can then purchase your custom built skates.

Are there some parts that are better than others?

Well, it really depends on what you want to do. Personal preference is what's most important, really. Some people prefer grinding with an anti-rocker setup. Others say its easier to use a freestyle frame. Experimentation works best. You just have to try what you feel would help you get to where you need to go. I used to melt wheels a lot til I started using my Kizer Arrow Powerblade set up. Now my equipment matches my speed levels. Its pretty crazy but once you figure it out. You'll understand what your "road", or personal style, demands in terms of equipment. Just remember only you can figure out what will work best for you. All we can do is make suggestions based on our own experiences. For example, the Arrow frames wouldn't be great for groove tricks at all compared to a freestyle frame, but the Arrow set up does what I need it to do in terms of speed. :]

Wow! You guys already have a sponsor. I've also noticed that we get new members every day (in 5 days, there's already been 10 new members that have joined, including myself). At this rate, by the end of this year (or even before), this site could at least have 1,000 members

I can't wait. I'm planning on making a team at some point in time, but I don't really know anyone who skates, so right now, I'm just going solo

I'm going to start skating again but need to know if the skates I'm looking at are any good for a beginner or if there are better ones. For now I just want to start and learn some basic tricks before moving on to getting better skates for more aggressive tricks. I don't care about the color but I am still a beginner level and would like some that are durable.

Those should be fine, since you're just starting. You have a soul plate and groove to get some grinds down when you get to that point. :] Rollerblade, to my knowledge, has pretty durable equipment but I've never tried them personally. My first aggressives 2001's Aaron Feinberg promodel and I did just fine so these newer skates should be just ok to start with. You'll eventually figure out what you want to do with your skates and will be able to customize them accordingly. Oh, and we have a thread for consulting purchases. You'd probably get more info there than here. :]
