Errr...Actually, there are quite a few techniques and maneuvers that can help you go faster. Double Push is one of them. Another that helps, especially when going downhill, is to stay as low as you can and keep your body in a sort of "aerodynamic pose", there a various so try experimenting. Basically, you want to cut wind resistance. :] Pushing downhill gets you going really fast. Some tips would be to use larger wheels or using a hi-lo set up, small wheel in the front bigger wheel in the back if you have freestyle frames. If you use a flat set up, you'll need to change each wheel so that they go from smallest (front) to biggest (back), meaning 4 different sizes, creating an angle that keeps your feet tipped/slanted forward. :3 With a hi-lo set up, I've noticed a pushing technique that can help is to kind of twist your foot/skate as you push, essentially carving with every foot and every push. Hope this helps. A lot of these ideas require practice and experience, so try not to rush into something you're uncomfortable with. Be sure you're comfortable with low speed, then try moderate speed, then high speed and so on and so forth til you're satisfied with your speed. :]

also momentum learn to cross your feet over when you turn to gain even more momentum if your going downhill make a turn crossing your feet over one another to keep that momemtun constant either then that it all depends on how fast you want to go try running on your rollerblades as if they were your shoes

While telling someone how to do things are a great help. The only way for someone to learn is practice , and to know is to have experience. That's my opinion. You can only know by doing it yourself
