So, the other day I thought about how we can measure accurate speed. And, maybe in some nearest future, lateral acceleration (G-forces measured in the car figure-8 test).
Now, how do you personally measure your speed? Judging from environment moving around you? Following a car and looking at it's speedometer?
Having a wrist computer which would be telling these things would be awesome.

There are apps that can measure your speed. :] Dunno how accurate they are though and some might only measure straight paths. I usually have someone drive behind me or next to me and measure my speed as I go.

I have the same technique as Yami, although I want to find a good shot at one of the road-side radar signs, haha.
