Jumped from one roof to another. Around 5 meters in lenght, on a 16-store height. That was the looooongest air time I ever had. Sadly, It was without the rollerblades Longest rollerblading air time I had was when I jumped off the stairs, 2.5 meters high, 3 meters length, and it was something around 1.5 second. Too bad I didn't managed to make a clean landing, so I wouldn't count that...

Sorry to disappoint but no one will really have any air time over 5 seconds, a mega ramp is probably the biggest thing someone can ever get air time over and if you watch haffey or scheppman air over it they only really probably get air for about 2-3 seconds anyway so yeah.

Maybe we should take into account the total air time? It would be more appliable to real world.

Well, the formula is quite simple: the more speed you have and the more harder you jump - the longer will be the distance. Important thing is keeping balance. If you're confident about your balance, you can jump as hard as you can, without fear of falling down. As for me, I can jump 3 meters in lengh on a totally flat surface. I'm pretty sure it's not maximum, so I keep practicing.

the trick to bigger air is just practice and experience, just skate heaps and it will get better.
I had this moment the other day where I was trying to pump a spine then 360 air from a quarter to a bank and I just couldnt make the distance, a few of the other more experienced skaters could but I just need some more practice pumping ramps more effectively.
so just practice more guys.

Well, I thought about it a bit and come to a conclusion that it's possible, but only under certain circumstances. I can't say anything about weight shifting, but swinging your legs out when performing backflip might work.
First, you need to be able to perform backflips and frontflips with your blades on. And that's what you rarely can see on the street, so there aren't many who can do this, at least in theory. Second, the height of your jump. I think it's necessary to be able to jump more than a half of your own height at the very least.
In any case you can't go higher, because of the gravity, but longer... Longer jump seems to be possible.

See, here's what alot of people forget though. The logic engineering in Air Treks are the "springs" that are in them, which lets the user jump higher than usual. After the unreal jump (with ATs) we've seen Ikki do, he had time to build his momentum into the backflip, then causing him to go higher due to the thrust and weight of his backflip kick, thus going higher and landing farther than if he would if he were to jump with ATs at a regular pace. It also depended on the speed, and knowing since there are electric engines inside the AT, building speed is no problem at the situation of what he was in, giving him a majority of skills to use at pretty much his own whim. Also he cheated because Kuu ( the bird) shows his friends where he secretly practiced. D:< Sort of behind the scenes type of stuff.
