Well I'm the admin Tuner here so ask me anything you like...also if your just starting out i would recommend you check out Roller Warehouse...at the same time there are a few brands I would recommend you stay away from like Valo, Nimh, Xsjado, and Remz as a beginner and that's is because, first you don't know how to use that much skate and second brands like USD (what i have used since 2002) you can customize to fit your riding style as you go...but if you buy it stock it is perfect for a beginner...where as Xsjado is an over priced binding blade you wear shoes in and they look and skate like crap i don't care what anyone says full boot blades are safer and you have more control...but this is just my recommendation, take it or leave it how ever you like.

depends on what your looking for if you want speed and stability then 4 wheels are better than 2 wheels but you sacrifice the ability to grind as well (exception to this rule is kaltik frames i guess) FSK is good speed wise, its possible to grind on certain models (extremely hard but I've seen my friend do it), speed and grinding then aggressive skates with powerblading frames and wheels (harder to grind than with normal frames though) or you want to focus on grinding then aggressive skate with either anti-rocker, freestyle or flat rocker frames

I'm going to be honest with you, starting off, if you want to get used to a high quality skate quickly, while it still not being too difficult, I'd go with the Razor Genesys 7.2. It's about a medium level skate(figuratively speaking). They're durable, reliable, anti-rockers, more geared toward grinding, but they can easily pick up speed. It was my first pair of skates and I highly recommend them. But these Days I use Valo EB1's. To get you started, check these out: www.inlinewarehouse.com/catpage-AGGSKATE.html?gclid=CPPc5IDy2LECFUKo4Aod6kcAuArollerwarehouse.com/www.aggressivemall.com/And for serious competition, never forget protective gear. www.aggressivemall.com/Protective-Gear-for-Aggressive-Skaters-s/34.htmHope I've been a help to you, and always remember to enjoy riding.

In this case you want powerblades. They're very similar to inline skates except they usually have larger wheels and flat rockers, it's pretty hard to do tricks in them, but they'll pick up speed quicker and easier than other kind of skate out there. rollerwarehouse.com/POWERBLADING.asppowerblading.org/

So i have found a pairr of old skates in my garage a friend gave to my dad a long time ago. Im a begginer and i cant tell what kind of skates they are. When i tried them out they picked up speed crazy fast. (to fast for me to start with) I cant tell what type of skate they are ad they are in need of work. these skates are from before 2005 at least maybe older. The straps are metal and rusted and kinda broken. What should i do?

Well, they're probably an older pair of Rollerblade brand freestyle skates. I would suggest that you begin looking at garage sales and things for a cheap pair of skates for right now (as a beginner). And, I would highly suggest registering for an account on the forum.
