Yeah true, I found out about it through youtube comments and the AirGear Wiki. PWN was supposed to be rider driven to some extent but we aren't quite at the level yet where battles and just participating in parts wars will be able to keep itself going on its own. We have to build on the tools we have to craft this organization. And I think you've done a good job so far Shadow. And likewise I have invested ideas and passion into this so I'd hate to see it wasted as well. - - JSR podcasts: as far as I know, Yami has the account details and setup for broadcasting JSR. Others have said they were willing to help co-cast but no progress yet.
- Emblem pins: Also, a framework setup by Yami and some others. Without details on that we would have to set up a new system.
- Area Generals and Media: I feel we can reboot this with the info we have now. Unless there are some network priveleges that are still restricted from you, Shadow, or any other active staff.
That's just my speculations. We'd love to hear any sorts of details of what we are actually currently working with so yeah if you could link that thread when you make it.

As for JSR podcasts, Yami and his friend Reno ran the whole show on their own. My hardware resources are very limited (an ancient PC), so I don't think I will be able to do it. Not to mention the fact that I just don't know what to talk about, that's definitely not my strong side.
As for emblem pins, Yami also had all the stuff on his shoulders, I only helped with the graphics. The way I see it, all emblems should be made of metal, for the sake of durability. And they're look and feel better too, IMHO.
As for Area Generals, that's something that I more or less have control over. I think the problem is that Area General has quite a list of responsibilities, but he has nothing in return. Again, I can only manage Area Generals, so I literally have no idea what else to do.
I think, for the Parts War to be rider-driven, it's necessary to get a large number of people into it in the shortest possible amount of time, in one place. This forum has very limited functionality, and I am the single active staff member for now. But, as I mentioned before, I've been working on a solution on those problems and will make a new announcement thread in the nearest days. Keep in mind, however, that this update is still in development, and will require some technical specialists to help me to bring it up.

I think we should try to get into contact with the old staff members but this will be very tricky , another way to try and make the PWN more active is by going back to old roots and filming youtube videos.
I wish I could help more but I do have little power also it doesn't help that I am the only active member on my old team.
At the moment we are going to have to try and put our heads together and solve the problem, true Shadow is the only active staff member but not the only active member and it might be best to find the active members and come up with a plan if we all work together instead of relying on one person to solve the problem then we will be able to solve it quicker team work is the best thing at the moment.

Well, when it's possible for me to skate outside I will probably record for youtube and also try to spread the word about PWN if I happen to skate in town.

I'm from the cold northern parts of Sweden. Meaning that there is a lot of snow and ice right now. So there is no good places to skate at the moment. But when the snow and ice melts I should be able to skate again.

zettaton, greetings and welcome to Parts War! I'd advice you to find some closed room big enough to practice riding, a warehouse, for instance. blue, I'm posting an update right now, there you should find all answers for your questions. Everybody else, go to the "News" section, there's something big waiting for you.

First off, about contacting the old staff: I haven't heard from Yami, so shadow would be the one to know best about where Yami has been concerning the pwn, but the other staff members (the original admins at least) kinda split off on purpose and for a while even planned on making their own version of the forum and system. So, getting in contact with them probably wouldn't be the best idea. Secondly, shadow, I would be willing to do some JSR podcasts eventually, if you're cool with that. Third, concerning metal emblems, (I've been looking at this a lot in the past few months) there's this site(link) that seems to have a lot of potential. I'm in the process of ordering my emblem from them now. **edit** Ignore the above shop, they (and a lot of similar shops) are charging around $200 dollars for 1 pin, or around $20 for bulk amounts of pins, which is ridiculous. I will keep looking, however.

Alrighty then, I'll get some recording stuff together, and we'll see what happens. If you do get in touch with Yami, see if he intends to do more with the broadcasts ever?
