I just preordered a solidoodle press 3d printer(should be here by October). I plan to print some blade parts and custom frames. I'll be posting any prototypes I make so others can print them aswell. Following link is to the printer I ordered www.solidoodle.com/PressHappy riding Sent from my Z992 using proboards

Interesting decision. However, I think 3D printed parts are good for fitting and testing only, the final product shall be made of more rigid materials, using more proven technology, like CNC machining for example.

I'm under the same opinion, that is why I will only be using it for prototyping. Tho I am excited to test the practical uses of some of the more exotic materials like carbon fiber fill pla. I can also use the printed part to created molds to then be used in injection molding or send the stl files to A CNC machine if I need too. If I do bring any of the prototypes to production I will most likely use injection molding

110mm 240L razor spacers.dae (813.53 KB) 110mm 250L razor spacers.dae (813.14 KB) just realized the files i put up where from before i lengthened the frame and lowered the height in the old file the wheels were under the mounting so by using a much more normal front to rear axial spacing i was able to cut 5mm from the height of the frames still waiting on the printer to get in to do the first prototypes in pla and with the recent updates solidoodle has posted to facebook i am fairly certain that they will be here around mid December. if , this is a big if, i dont get snow ill post a vid of me riding them. if i do get snow im gana be busy with all the fun that comes with the snow

Damn, they look monstrous. Tell us how they ride after some testing. P.S. Riding 110 on Xsjado's? I'll keep my fingers crossed you won't break yourself anything.

Best of luck with those, pics and vids of the ride if possible! And if those are successful, I'd be up to buy a pair, lol.

The pin didn't hold the halve together so I'm looking for another way to keep the 2 halves together if these support my weight I'll go print the other one as one peace and post a video the end goal is to hopefully get the molded
I won't sell the printed ones but the files I used are on here. Each frame takes about 24 hr to print and it's gana cost me $540. 00 for a pair

It's always expensive to manufacture a single product. I believe it would cost way less if it was wholesale product.
