Hey guys!! I'm not on the BlazBlue forum personally, but I've been talking to some close friends who are - and their forum is close to shutting down due to the host having money issues. They're currently under a bought domain name here: www.blazblue.com/forum/ , and the forum means a lot to them (they've found friends through it, the same as we have etc.) So!! I need your guys' help on this one. I suggested that if push comes to shove, they consider relocating to something like Proboards. I'd need to know stuff like: - how much it would cost them to run one of these, if it costs at all - setting up a chatbox - the mod system - how possible it would be to try and relocate as much of their forum as possible to Proboards. Thanks very much, any help is welcome!! --Roc

1) ProBoards are free to use, as long as you don't care about adverts all over it. 2) PB Allows implementing such thing 3) Moderation works like in any other forum 4) PB doesn't allow importing/exporting databases from/to other forums, meaning they'll have to start from the beginning.
I'd recommend to find out what forum engine they use, download it's distributive (if possible) and set it up somewhere else, then move databases there. There might be some free hosting services, try googling. Personally I'd to stay away from PB, because their user policies are crap.
