...the internet stopped working? Or, better yet, all electronic appliances? What if, one day, you wake up and there is absolutely no electricity? What would you do?

Funny, I was thinking about the same thing not long ago, lol XD
I would gather some of my belongings, took a couple of knives, a bow with a set of arrows and would set a journey to the center of the country, where a very special person would be waiting for me. After that, I'd try to become a blacksmith. I like cold weapons and would be gladly making them.

If the world power grid goes down for any significant amount of time, the resulting failure of infrastructure would be catastrophic. Most notably, the food supply would come screeching to a halt. For places like the United States we depend on a ton of infrastructure to keep our population fed. Mass starvation would wreck our population within a couple months. It's not a stretch to say the cannibalism could become one of the biggest threats to come out of a worldwide lack of power.
Electricity powers our world.
On the other hand, if the internet goes down, we will have a definite slowdown in our business, but nothing close to mass starvation.
You guys may be interested to know that world wide power failure is actually a serious concern for scientists. If a large solar flare from our sun shoots in the direction of Earth, the resulting radiation could fry every electronic device on the planet. Something to think about.
