Cyan came up to me, and we skated around for a long old while. And then filmed me going down my course :3 We probably nearly had a horrible accident in the making of, too. Link

A Trick Pass demo is a really good idea, and it's a good way to get more videos up. Nice job, ladies! Keep it up. I look forward to seeing more. :3 I may have to make one sometime soon.

Hm, more than half of the whole route is quite narrow, little possible overtake zones... Shrike, you'd be safe within your turf, as long as you manage to get the leadership from the start. However, once you let someone to pass you, the battle is over. And I strongly suggest to switch to inlines, quads have almost no chances here.

I hear ya, Shadow - I do have some inlines, it's just that, at this point, nothing I do on them feels particularly natural yet. That's something I believe will be fixed in time, but for now, I'm just not confident enough on them. Heck, it took me an age to not be scared out of my wits going downhill on my Quads >_>

Oooh...Downhill on quads sounds awesome! Have you seen what aggressive quads look like? They have wider trucks for grinding. Imagine putting longboard wheels on them? That'd be sick! I think you could go a super faster, but I've never tried quads so I dunno. It makes sense, though. lulz You could just speed train on your quads, if you feel you aren't going as fast as you want. I mean, I'm sure its possible to go faster than inlines on quads, it would probably be more work and take more practice. I imagine it would just take of training and the right equipment. Besides, you have inlines so, if it turns out the do quads limit your abilities, you could switch to those. :3

Heck, it took me an age to not be scared out of my wits going downhill on my Quads >_> If it were me, I'd personally go for blades on the very beginning, that way, you won't get used to just quads, because if you go for that, you'll end up kind of not feeling the single-lined wheel feeling, so it'll be kind of as if you were still skating for the first time. If you have the blades, even if you don't feel comfortable, still skate in them and you'll eventually get used to them.
