This isn't new and has bin covered by others but i don't think in this foarm, the no fakie mindset. This doesn't mean you don't do tricks "fakie", this means you look at tricks as if fakie just means your other foot leads. Don't think about learning a trick just one way, you shold learn them both ways as if turning both ways feels natral. Doing so will help you learn tricks faster bcause you won't be going back to learn the same trick again just with a different leading foot.

A trick done with your other foot, gets "switch" prefix. At least we have it like this in slides. Like if you do Soul slide with "inconvenient" foot it will be called "Switch Soul".
I try to learn every possible variation, starting from the basics. Currently I'm trying to learn Barrow and Soyale slides. But still can't do Switch Soul, my right foot is a lot harder to get into slide than left.
*Please do not confuse slides with grinds.*
