First, I guess I'll give a review on Create Originals, which although pricey, are far and away the best investment in frames currently available. IMO.
First, the material. Like most frames in the aggressive market, these are plastic. This particular compound slides extremely well, is very durable, and I have no real complaints at all...
Second, the shape. The groove on these is a bit wide, but locks well, has a PERFECT shape in the h-block, no need to break these in!, and the sides have a minimal contact surface on soul grinds. The side shaping could be better, but that's just nitpicking honestly, as I've never had a problem with them not sliding, and neither has anyone I know. Bolts are recessed well and the spacers are solid.
These frames have two features that make them truly unique.
One is the graphic system with plastic protectors. Yes, you can use your own designs you print on your computer, or your own hand drawn artwork there. Genius stuff! Personally I usually skate mine without anything in them. It would be a perfect place to put a team emblem though....
The second is that these come with "g-blocks", basically blocks of plastic which take the place of the second and third wheels, making the frames go from flat or anti to freestyle. Yes, fifty-fifty already did this, but I admit, the shape on the g-blocks works better. Personal preference.
Anyway, these will last quite a long time compared to most frames on the market, are far and away the best option for rolling 8 down on an Aggressive frame, work well anti and freestyle, and let your creativity shine. Great frames for all levels of skaters.
